This spot is awesome. I love their papusas. It's a little small so keep in mind to use patients if it's a busy afternoon.
Silpancho- highly recommended but come hungry.
This meal is LARGE and FILLING!!! It consists of a base layer of rice, usually white, followed by a layer of boiled and sliced potatoes. Next, a thin layer of schnitzel-style meat is laid on top, followed by a layer of chopped tomato. In addition, onion, beet and parsley are mixed together and topped with a fried eggs.
Milanesa- Milanesa consists of a thin slice of chicken dipped into egg and coated with bread crumbs and seasoning like salt, pallet, parsley& garlic. This is by far my favorite dish. It's placed on top of a bed of rice and French fries.
Salteñas- a savory pastry filled with beef, pork or chicken mixed in a sweet, slightly spicy sauce containing olives, raisins and potatoes. You can't order just one. Our family usually order 2 chicken and 2 beef.
The only complaints I have from this restaurant is the space is limited so we don't usually bring both family and friends. Our family is 6 and we take up a lot of room and it feels crowded. Also the last few times we've been they were low on Salteñas. The kids had a fit lol! We try to buy extra as Salteñas tend to heat up nicely the next day. -

I was in this restaurant last weekend, I had to drive from Alexandria Va to Sterling , the food was decent, the waitress was spectacular but the person at the cashier a man in his late 20's with a very bad attitude and arrogant he completely ignored me when I wanted to make my payment, he was on the phone and no courtesy at all to say anything to me . That kind of people shouldn't serve in a restaurant. If I could give them zero starts I would.

I want to give this place 5 stars because of the amazing food they serve, but poor service took one out.
Their silpancho is to die for, their salteñas are sooo good and they always run out so get there early. I would say one of my favorite things about this place is that homemade taste you get when you eat any of their dishes. You can tell it's family owned and they make sure their food is authentic. Soups of the day are delicious and huge. Their portions are always big and enough to take half home for next day's lunch. If you haven't tried bolivian food, check this place out! -

This food is damn good! And the service was great. I'm ignorant, so didn't know the difference between empanadas and saltenas; the folks at the counter helped me out. I ordered 3 chicken and 3 beef saltenas. They were SO good that a woman who doesn't eat beef was raving about her beef saltena. Folks who ordered beef but accidentally bit into chicken just kept eating because it was delicious. Everyone was in love. The flavor is perfect.
(And the tres leches is good although different than I've experienced before. Up here, they seem to sit the cake in the milk to soak it up; so the cake is wet halfway up from the bottom. In New Orleans (where we have a large Honduran population), they pour the milk over the cake AND sit it in the milk so that it's wet all the way through. I assume the difference is due to different latinx communities up here vs down south. I prefer the wetter version of this dessert, but it's all delicious!)
